What was the biggest improvement in you/patient that was noticed?
My grand mal (tonic-clinic) seizures have dramatically decreased. Prior to starting neurofeedback, as well as a modified medical version of the keto diet, I’d had three grand mal seizures in six weeks. After I started the modified medical keto diet I still had two more seizures before starting neurofeedback, but they were much further apart than my first 3, close to a month apart for both. Since starting neurofeedback I’ve had two more, but they were 3 months and then 5 months apart. I’m currently 3 months grand mal seizure-free, and counting.
My petit mal (absence) seizures have been lower in numbers than they have ever been. Back before we started neurofeedback, the keto diet was a huge help with those; shortening their length and frequency dramatically, bringing my 30+ absence seizures down to around an average of 15 shorter ones daily. But neurofeedback was a game changer in conjunction with the diet. Although they aren’t completely gone, I’ve had many days where I’ve had less than five, which is amazing!
My sleep also improved dramatically. For a while I was up many times a night and was exhausted all the time. Now I have few problems with that. I also had some memory issues that seemed to spark after one of my seizures, but after my last protocol that’s been cleared up! As an added bonus, my motivation has never been this high. I’ve never really had any serious emotional problems, but I still feel more uplifted and patient then I’ve ever been. In short, I truly believe that neurofeedback has been a complete God-send in my life and I’m very grateful for the wonderful people who do it!

A "game changer" in my son's health and well being
Conditions or concerns
Depression, anxiety, learning/school difficulties and autism spectrum disorder.
How did your symptoms improve with Neurofeedback? How did Neurofeedback improve your quality of life?
[T.F.] It's making me feel better. Way more positive. More energetic. School seems easier. I just go there, get my stuff done and I don't worry so much.
[A.F.] My son is overall more positive since starting neurofeedback. He doesn't seem to sweat the little things as much. He's more focused, is more clear headed with decisions, his memory has improved and he went from a C/D average student to getting A's and B's!
What would you say to someone considering Neurofeedback therapy?
[T.F.] It may seem long-winded or like a lot with more than one appointment a week but it turned out to be calming and relaxing. It has a positive impact on me.
[A.F.] Do it! It's truly worth the investment of your time and money and has been a "game changer" in my son's health and well being, at both home and school.
